Feather Dream

" You float like a feather in a beautiful world. I wish I was special you're so f**king special."- RaidoHead

When you see a feather you immediately have to stroke it, feel the softness, embrace the colour and textures, even it its feather you find on the floor its still out natural instinct to pick it up anyways!
Feathers are a natural wonder, the float innocently amongst the world, landing in the most unexpected places.
If a feather finds me I will cherish that feather forever, if picked you for a reason.

I'm
Thinking of making my own dreamcatchers, make them Abit different by adding u usual feather styles and shapes. I've also added some to clothing to funk it up some more, oh and on hats, bags etc. Did I mention I like feathers?

Bold and Bohemian

Bohemian: 1. A person as an artist or writer who lives and acts free of regard of conventional rules and practices. 2. One who lives a wandering or vagabond life, as a gypsy.

Bohemian style consists of loose, colorful clothing and has appeared as boho chic, hippie style, and Aesthetic dress. With their long flowing hair and rich, though threadbare fabrics, bohemians stand out in a crowd representing a colorful counterculture based on creativity, poverty, and an indifference to social structures and traditions.

A new cult of personality emerged with the bohemian artist as hero and individual style expressed in the way one dressed. An artist became a special type of person, not merely a crafts person, but a kind of eccentric genius whose creativity was displayed in the way they lived and looked. The artist himself (or herself) was a piece of art.

.

Artist Frida Kahlo was born on July 6, 1907, in Coyocoán, Mexico City, Mexico.

Frida was recognised as one of Mexico's greatest artist's.While she never considered herself a Surrealist,  claiming she never paint dreams or nightmares, she only painted reality. Her and image opened the bohemian era as she set against conventional ways and painted what was true to her. Since her death, Kahlo’s fame as an artist has only grown. Her beloved Blue House was opened as a museum in 1958. The feminist movement of the 1970s led to renewed interest in her life and work, as Kahlo was viewed by many as an icon of female creativity.

Bohemian Idols

Lisa Bonet AKA Lilakoi Moon.

Actress Lisa Bonet was a major fashion fixture in the '80s. For a Cosby kid, her personal style looked like it was from 'a different world.' During the era of big hair and excessive makeup, Bonet managed to rock both effortlessly and still look amazing. From dreads to curls, multicolored eyeshadow to brightly colored blush, the daring fashionista's colorful looks and bohemian wardrobe made her a standout star.
Complimented by her "I don't care" attitude, Bonet always pushed the fashion limits.

She never fit into the perfect Cosby kid mold nor did she follow any fashion trends, which I absolutely loved about her. Besides, no one ever made fashion history without taking a few risks, right? As the free-spiritedDenise Huxtable, Bonet paved the way for the hipsters of today, including her daughter Zoë Kravitz.

Gillian Zinser

Watching 90210 I always admired Gillian's hipster, beach style as well as her on scene mother who was a cool hipster music producer. But until a few months ago I realised that the bohemian image is still kept off set too! Now I just adore her even more. Gillian's brings a beautiful youthful aspect to the boho style keeping it contemporary yet cultural. She is often seen wearing many hats which have become her trade mark, one of her hats she always wears belonged to her grandfather which she keeps as a sort of safety blanket. Now thats spirit.

If you could be anyone in the world, who would you be?

.. I know who I would be.
All good things are wild and free.
